Coached 1-to-1 training in High Wycombe, with nutrition guidance running alongside it.

What Ty specialises in

Twelve years in the fitness industry and twenty-five in dance and entertainment make for an unusual mix. Sessions draw on both.

Weight loss

Fat loss that stays off means eating enough to train hard and lifting enough to hold onto muscle. Expect strength work alongside the conditioning, with nutrition guidance from the first week rather than bolted on later.

Muscle growth and toning

Structured progression on the main lifts, with technique coached in the session rather than sent as a video afterwards. If you have been training a while and stalled, this is usually where the problem is.

Full body transformation

Longer term work that combines the two above. Training, nutrition and daily habits move together, because changing one of them without the others rarely holds.

Nutrition guidance

Built around what you actually eat rather than a template meal plan. Guidance on protein, portions and eating out without derailing, adjusted as your training load changes.

Mental health and motivation support

Motivation dips for everyone, and that is usually when training stops. Sessions are built to keep you engaged rather than to punish you, and Ty asks how you are doing, not only what you lifted. This is coaching and motivational support, not clinical treatment.

Mobility, flexibility and balance

Range of motion, joint health and balance, all of which matter more with every decade past forty. Worth prioritising if you sit at a desk all day, or if everyday movements have quietly got harder.

Ballet-inspired training and posture correction

Twenty-five years as a professional dancer feeds straight into this. Control, alignment and posture work of a kind most gym programmes never touch.

Boxing

Pad work and boxing conditioning, used both as training in its own right and as a way to make the conditioning side of a fat loss block something you actually look forward to.

Cuban salsa dancing

Ty danced professionally in Cuba for years and teaches it too. It is genuine cardio that most people do not notice they are doing, and it is very good for coordination and balance.

Injury recovery

Training around an injury, or rebuilding after one, working to whatever your physiotherapist or doctor has advised. Ty is a trainer rather than a clinician, so this complements medical treatment rather than replacing it.

Junior training

Coaching for younger athletes, built around movement quality, confidence and safe progression rather than lifting the heaviest weight in the room. Sessions suit both those playing a sport and those simply wanting to get stronger and fitter.

Ty trains juniors from 16, and from 14 with a parent present. A parent or guardian is welcome to stay and watch.

Senior training

Strength, balance and confidence on your feet, at a pace that respects what your body will tolerate today. The aim is the ordinary things staying easy: stairs, shopping, getting off the floor, keeping up with grandchildren.

If you have a medical condition or take regular medication, Ty will ask you to check with your GP before starting.

Starting from scratch

Never trained, or not for years? The first few sessions are about learning the movements and building confidence. Nothing is assumed and nothing is rushed. Plenty of clients arrive having never touched a barbell.

How sessions work

Every session is coached start to finish on Hughenden Blvd in High Wycombe. You are shown each movement, watched while you do it, and progressed when you are ready, not before.

  • A programme written for your goal, your schedule and your injury history
  • Technique coached in the session, not sent as a video link
  • Load and volume adjusted as you progress
  • Progress tracked so you can see it, not just feel it
  • Nutrition guidance running alongside the training
